Meet our newest recruit!

We are delighted to welcome Lee Larsen to the PEMCO family! Lee has a strong background in property facilities management and joins us as a Risk Assessor, Auditor and Trainer. We’d love all our clients to find out a bit more about Lee.

Why did you join PEMCO?

I have had the pleasure of working with PEMCO in previous roles as a client, and have been on the receiving end of numerous visits by PEMCO to produce fire, legionella and workplace risk assessments. Watching the PEMCO business grow and offer more services has been very exciting and one of the reasons I joined the team. I’ve also witnessed the passion, commitment and collaboration between the team which is very welcoming and another reason I wanted to be part of PEMCO.

What do you do at PEMCO?

I deliver Fire and Legionella Risk assessments / audits on various buildings ranging from small office blocks, train stations to major high rise residential / student properties, providing a bespoke service to our client’s needs. I also deliver training in fire safety awareness which includes fire extinguisher training and fire marshall training.

What’s your background/credentials?

I’ve spent the last 25 years working in the property and facilities sector managing various buildings from residential houses, army barracks, world war hangars and student accommodation. I also currently train new lorry drivers in CPC MOD 4 in my spare time which I find very rewarding, knowing they have passed their exams and can start a safe driving career. I also worked at Liverpool Football Club as a Safety Steward for 12 years completing risk assessments and safety checks throughout the stadium, gaining some valuable experience and implementing nationwide training packages for all sports stadiums.

What are the values that drive you?

Honesty, loyalty, trust, commitment and compassion.

What is something that people in Health & Safety have to deal with that you want to fix?
